Local Coordinates

An abbreviated form of "object-local coordinates", local coordinates assume the origin (<0,0,0>) of the x, y, and z axis to be the same as the center of the object. Object-local coordinates are mostly used when dealing with child prims, in which case the origin is the center of the parent prim.

I used to think that local rotations were impossible through LSL, but I recently stumbled upon the rotation section which clearly shows an awesome way to get local rotating working very well. Just go to the "Combining Rotations" section to check it out! - Dave Zeeman the idiot.

We now have llGetLocalRot and llSetLocalRot for extra easy local rotation. Hooray for progress! -Nep
