#### object position

The

*object position*, as

returned by

`llGetPos`, is the geometric center (see below) of the

root prim in the

linked set. For a single prim, object center and geometric center are always the same.

#### geometric center

The

*geometric center* of a linked set is the average of the

*geometric centers* of all the prims in the set. This is what

`llRezObject` uses. See

`llGetGeometricCenter`.

#### center of gravity/mass

The

*center of gravity/mass* is the balance point. If you take a symmetric shape such as a cube prim, the

*center of gravity/mass* is in the geometric center. If you reduce the top

size of the cube, the

*center of gravity/mass* will shift towards the thick end because it is heavier. See

`llGetCenterOfMass`.
