list llParcelMediaQuery(list query_list)
Queries the
texture and/or URL for
QuickTime-playable
video on the
land parcel.
This function will only work if the
script is contained within an
object owned by the landowner (or if the land is owned by a
group, only if the object has been
deeded to the group). It will
not work for group land if the object owner is a member of the group. The object actually has to be owned by the group.
Note: this function
delays the
script for 2 seconds.
query_list can include one or more of the following
flags:
| Flag | Value | Description |
| PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_TEXTURE | 4 | Returns the key of the texture to be replaced with video. |
| PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_URL | 5 | Returns the movie URL. |
| PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_TYPE | 10 | Returns the type of media being displayed (a string), eg. "text/html" for Web pages (only available after 1.19.1 RC0) |
| PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_SIZE | 11 | Returns the size in pixels of the media as a list of two integers (only available after 1.19.1 RC0) |
| PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_DESC | 12 | Returns a string with the description for the media being displayed (only available after 1.19.1 RC0) |
llParcelMediaQuery will return a list with the results in the order the
values were specified in
query_list.
llParcelMediaQuery will return an empty list under the following conditions:
- The object owner is not the same as the land owner.
- query_list does not contain either PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_TEXTURE or PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_URL.
Things you can do but should not:
- If query_list contains list entries in addition to PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_TEXTURE or PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_URL, llParcelMediaQuery will ignore them. This doesn't mean you should specify great big lists for query_list, however.
- query_list can contain multiple values of PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_TEXTURE or PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_URL, and will return a list with the results corresponding to the various positions of the the values specified in query_list. Don't do this. Call llParcelMediaQuery once, with PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_TEXTURE and PARCEL_MEDIA_COMMAND_URL as needed.
