Alpha
A
float representing
transparency, which can apply to
textures and text (via
llSetText). The alpha value is interpreted as an
opacity percentage: 1 is fully opaque and .2 is mostly transparent. The functions that allow you to set alpha are not clamped like the edit mode setting is; you may set an object to 100% transparent (0.0 alpha) with any of the llSet* functions listed below.
