RGB
Red-
Green-
Blue (
RGB) is the color designation format used on computer monitors, TVs, and other
light-emitting displays. It is subtractive--color is subtracted to get black. Contrast with CMYK (
Cyan/
Magenta/
Yellow/blac
K), used in the print world, which is additive.
