Red-Green-Blue (RGB) is the color designation format used on computer monitors, TVs, and other light-emitting displays. It is subtractive--color is subtracted to get black. Contrast with CMYK (Cyan/Magenta/Yellow/blacK), used in the print world, which is additive.
