Parent

Linked objects have a very limited hierarchy. There is one parent (also called the root prim) and 1 or more children. The parent prim is the default prim selected when a linked set is selected with the built-in tools and is highlighted in yellow. When selecting multiple prims to create a linked set, the last prim selected will be the parent.

The number of prims (for link functions) is determined according to the following:

Object | Prim | Link | Child

Isn't this fully synonymous with root? Is that (the one-deep object tree structure) likely to change so that this distinction is valid?
It seems some reorganisation is in order, at least a merger with root (and I suppose a redirect in one place):

(The 0/1,2,... link numbering is also described in Link and llGetLinkNumer, and is probably not useful if you link to Link anyhow - as it is probably most relevant/logically placed there)
